Our occupational therapists provide comprehensive assessments to understand a child’s strengths, challenges and everyday support needs, including Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs) where appropriate.

Who We Support

At Grow & Tell, our paediatric occupational therapists support children with a wide range of developmental, sensory, motor and functional needs. This may include children with:

• Autism (ASD)
• ADHD
• Developmental delays
• Sensory processing differences
• Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) and motor coordination difficulties
• Cerebral palsy
• Intellectual disability
• Social participation and play challenges

Children do not need a particular diagnosis to benefit from occupational therapy. Families may seek OT when a child is experiencing difficulties with sensory processing, emotional regulation, fine or gross motor skills, handwriting, attention, coordination, self-care, independence or participation at home and school.

Some children may also experience feeding and mealtime challenges, including sensory sensitivities or a limited range of accepted foods. Our team provides specialised feeding therapy to support children and families where appropriate.

Whether your child is beginning their therapy journey or requires ongoing support, our Sydney paediatric occupational therapists provide individualised, strengths-based support focused on meaningful everyday goals.

  • Individualised Therapy Plans: We develop therapy plans around your child’s strengths, needs, interests and goals, with a focus on meaningful progress at home, school and in the community.

  • Evidence-Based & Play-Focused: Our occupational therapists use evidence-based approaches and engaging, play-based activities to support sensory processing, emotional regulation, motor skills, self-care, participation and independence.

  • Collaborative & Family-Centred: We work closely with parents, caregivers, educators and other professionals to help strategies carry over beyond the therapy room and into your child’s everyday environments.
