Helen Fong-Occupational Therapist
Helen holds a Master of Occupational Therapy from The University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego. She has extensive experience supporting clients with a wide range of developmental needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, Developmental Coordination Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, and sensory processing differences. Utilising a child-led, evidence-based approach, Helen targets fine and gross motor development, sensory integration, executive functioning, emotional regulation, and daily living skills. She is deeply passionate about empowering children and young people to build confidence, gain independence, and thrive across home, school, and community settings.
With a strong interest in sensory integration and processing, Helen is currently undertaking ongoing training in Ayres Sensory Integration to further enrich her practice.
Drawing on her background as a school counsellor, Helen applies a holistic, strengths-based, and family-centred approach to therapy. She collaborates closely with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure goals are both meaningful and functional. Having lived and studied in Macau, the United States, and Australia, Helen is committed to delivering inclusive, culturally sensitive care tailored to each child’s unique background.
