NDIS Speech Pathologist Sydney
NDIS Speech Therapy for Children in Sydney
Grow & Tell provides paediatric NDIS speech therapy in Sydney for children and young people who need support with communication, speech, language, literacy, fluency and social communication.
Our Certified Practising Speech Pathologists provide individualised therapy based on each child's communication needs, everyday activities and goals. Speech pathology is recognised by the NDIS as a therapy support where it meets the relevant NDIS funding criteria.
We support self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants, with appointments available at our Rhodes and St Leonards/Crows Nest clinics, as well as through mobile therapy at home, school or preschool and Telehealth.
Our approach is practical and family-centred. Therapy goals can focus on helping children communicate more effectively and participate more confidently at home, at school and in the community.
What Can NDIS Speech Therapy Help With?
-
Speech Sounds & Pronunciation
Speech therapy can support children who have difficulty producing sounds or being understood by others. Our Speech Pathologists use individualised, evidence-based approaches to help children develop clearer, more confident communication.
-
Language Delays
Speech therapy can support children with language delays. By guiding them to express themselves, build sentences, understand questions and follow instructions, children thrive as their communication skills improve.
-
Fluency & Stuttering
Our Speech Pathologists support children who stutter using evidence-based approaches suited to their age and individual needs. Therapy can help children and families understand stuttering and support confident communication.
-
Social Communication
Speech therapy can support children with social communication skills such as conversation, understanding social cues, communicating with others and participating in everyday interactions.
-
AAC & Communication Support
For children who benefit from additional ways to communicate, our Speech Pathologists can support Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) alongside spoken communication where appropriate.
-
Literacy & Phonological Awareness
Speech Pathologists can support skills that contribute to reading and spelling, including phonological awareness, sound awareness, vocabulary and language comprehension.
