Mina Hsia-Occupational Therapist
Mina holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) from the University of Sydney. She is trained in DIRFloortime and has experience providing assessment and therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), and Global Developmental Delay (GDD).
Mina has experience completing Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs) for NDIS participants. As part of an FCA, she assesses how a participant manages everyday activities across home, school and community settings, considering areas such as self-care, participation, sensory processing and independence. Mina provides detailed, individualised recommendations based on each participant’s strengths, functional needs and goals.
Mina is passionate about using child-led, play-based approaches to support each child's unique strengths and interests. She has a particular interest in sensory regulation and enjoys working collaboratively with children and their families to build confidence, independence, and meaningful participation in everyday life.
