NSW Thriving Kids Program for Speech and Occupational Therapy
From October 2026, the NSW Government will begin rolling out a new early childhood support program called Thriving Kids for children aged 8 and under with developmental delay and/or autism who have low to moderate support needs.
Thriving Kids supports may include:
• Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy
• Parent coaching and education
• Supported playgroups
• Telehealth and play-based supports
• Information and referrals for families
These changes may affect some families currently accessing early intervention and NDIS supports.
