Jules Tushuizen - Speech Pathologist/Parent Coaching
Jules Tushuizen has 18 years’ experience as a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist, holding a Master of Speech Language Pathology and a Master of Inclusive Education in Autism. She also has a Bachelor of Arts in English, Linguistics and Sociology.
Jules has worked at SDN (Sydney Day Nursery), OAC (Only About Children), The Portland Women and Children’s Hospital (London), and within schools, homes, and clinics in both Sydney and London.
She is passionate about Early Intervention, supporting children and families as soon as a difficulty is noticed so that children can achieve the best possible outcomes and reach their full potential. Jules enjoys working with children of all ages, with a particular focus on those diagnosed as neurodiverse or on the Autism Spectrum. She also provides free talks and in-services to local preschools, educators, parents, and childcare centres.
Outside of her clinic work, Jules is the creator of Ready Set Talk, where she develops speech and language resources and educational content for parents and professionals. She also shares practical speech pathology information through the Grow & Tell YouTube channel and Instagram.
