Joanna Luo
Joanna holds a masters degree in Speech Pathology from The University of Technology Sydney and is a certified practising member of Speech Pathology Australia.
Joanna enjoys working with children and their families to support the development of clear, confident, and meaningful communication. She has experience supporting a range of communication needs, including speech sound difficulties, expressive and receptive language, fluency, and Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). She works with children of different ages and abilities and aims to provide therapy that is practical, individualised, and grounded in evidence-based practice.
Joanna believes in the importance of working closely with parents, teachers, and other professionals so that therapy can be carried over into the child’s everyday environments and lead to meaningful outcomes. She is passionate about creating warm, engaging, and child-centred sessions where children feel supported to build their skills and confidence. Joanna also values ongoing learning and professional development so she can continue to provide high-quality care to the families she works with.
Outside of work, Joanna enjoys going to the gym, playing the piano, and baking.
