Elena (Elly) Abram | Speech Pathologist

Elena (Elly) Abram is a Speech Pathologist at Grow & Tell's Rhodes clinic. She holds a Master of Speech and Language Pathology from Macquarie University and is a Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia.

Elly has experience supporting children and adolescents with speech sound disorders, language delays (including late talkers) and literacy difficulties. She is passionate about helping children develop their communication skills and confidence, supporting them to thrive at home, at school and in everyday life.

Elly brings warmth, energy and creativity to her therapy sessions, combining a fun and engaging approach with evidence-based practice. She enjoys getting to know each child, building strong relationships with families and tailoring therapy to each child's individual needs, strengths and interests. Her focus is on making communication enjoyable and rewarding, with practical, achievable goals that families can continue working towards beyond the clinic.

Elly has a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent children, including those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia and dysgraphia. Her previous experience as a School Learning Support Officer has given her valuable insight into the classroom experiences and challenges of neurodivergent students. This understanding helps her work collaboratively with families and educators to support children's communication, learning and participation.

Outside of work, Elly enjoys playing soccer with friends, discovering new foods and being taken for walks by her dogs!
