Cynthia Choy

Cynthia completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) at the University of Sydney and is a Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia. She has experience working in both clinic and school settings across Sydney and London to support children and young people with a range of communication needs.

Cynthia is passionate about empowering children to have autonomy and the ability to advocate for themselves. She incorporates each child's unique strengths, using play-based intervention and a neurodiversity affirming approach to improve their communication and confidence. She aims to work closely with families, carers and educators to ensure continuity of care. She strives to make every session a positive, supportive and empowering experience. Cynthia has a special interest in speech sound disorders, selective mutism and pathological demand avoidance. 

Outside of work, Cynthia enjoys going on hikes, reading books, doing pilates and spending time with her dog, Ollie.
